Boylon heating cables are mechanically very robust and require no additional protection, they have a high and constant power output per meter.
Sheath material: |
Stainless steel SS304 (1.4301), SS321 (1.4541), SS316 (1.4401), SS310 (1.4845) and INCONEL 600 (2.4816) |
Restistance: |
>= 1000 MΩ between conductor and sheath at room temperature |
Max. voltage: |
800 V |
Dielectric strength: |
100 * (D +5) V, (D is the sheath diameter in mm) between conductor and sheath at room temperature: the heating cable can stand this voltage for 1 minute. |
Outer diameter: |
∅ 0,5 mm - 8,0 mm |
Bending radius: |
5 x outside diameter |
Heating conductor: |
Chrome-Nickel, NiCr, see table |
Number of conductors: |
1- to 6-core |
Mineral isolation: |
Magnesium oxide MgO, 99,4 % |
Function:
Connect the supply voltage is to the power then the heat is generated. The amount of heat depends on the resistance value of the heating cable and of the supplied voltage.
Applications:
Chemical-, Petrol- and Gas-Industry, Power stations, Food industry, machine makers for plastic and rubber, Greenhouses for agriculture, Construction Industry for road, bridge, channel, football field (anti freezing) etc.
